Master's Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics

Entry requirements:

In order to register in an official Master's Degree, it is mandatory to have completed an official degree in Spain or in any higher education institution of a member state of the European Union integrated in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that allows students to take a Master's Degree. Students who have obtained their degree outside the EHEA can be admitted as long as the University can verify that these qualifications have a similar level to the corresponding degrees in Spain and they permit graduates to take a Master's Course.

Students must hold a degree in Dentistry or be specialists in Stomatology. It is also mandatory to have at least 3 years of previous training in Orthodontics (at least 45 credits) in a University Centre o in another University by means of an agreement. This experience will be assessed by the Teaching Committee. Furthermore, candidates must prove that they have an English language ability equivalent to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Furthermore, it is also advisable to have manual dexterity since it is a required skill in the dentistry profession, as well as to have a strong working capacity, show interest on areas related to Dentistry, Orthodontics and health, follow strict hygienic practices and preventive medicine practices, be able to use tact and delicacy to communicate, as well as to listen and show understanding to the speaker.

Study mode: Attendance required

Schedule: El horario presencial del Máster de Ortodoncia y Ortopedia Dentofacial de la Universidad de Oviedo se desarrolla de lunes a viernes de 9 a 14 y de 15 a 20 horas, una semana cada mes. También se imparten cursos algún sábado (a concretar) para completar las horas de formación presencial requeridas.
