II Foro Intercultural Voces del GEMMA
El Edificio Histórico de la Universidad acogió el II Foro Intercultural Voces del GEMMA con estudiantes de más de una veintena de países que han cursado el Máster de Género y Diversidad.

Campus Científicos de Verano
Los Campus Científicos 2012 contaron con la participación de 111 estudiantes de 4º de la ESO y 1º de Bachillerato procedentes de 16 comunidades autónomas. El Campus de Excelencia Internacional colabora por segundo año consecutivo con la iniciativa.

Campus of El Cristo
The Campus is located in the upper part of the City, between the water tanks of El Cristo and the current University Central Hospital of Asturias. This campus includes degrees on law, social, health and sciences related disciplines. It also hosts several departments and the Scientific-Technical Services.

Office of the Vice-Rector for Students and Employment
A completely restructured building in González Besada street. This building combines modern design and functionality.

Yard of the Historic Building
This is the place where the history of the University of Oviedo started more than 400 years ago. The Yard, chaired by the sculpture of Valdés Salas and the Tower, one o the few elements that survived the fire of 1934, are the identity symbols of the institution.

Study Hall of the Library
Thousands of students have used these wooden tables in the history of the University of Oviedo. The Central Library, placed in the Historic Building, keeps the identity of this institution.

Passage of the Rector's Office
This passage in the Historic Building evokes the origin of the most ancient building of the institution. It is connected with the Yard of Elizabeth II.

Quirós Building Façade
Located in the Plaza de Riego, this building dates from the 18th century, although it has undergone important restructuring works. The University acquired it in 1982 and it currently hosts university services, the management and the Social Council.

University School of Nursing and Physiotherapy
This building opened its doors in the decade of 2000 in the upper part of the Campus of El Cristo to host the degrees of Nursing and Physiotherapy. Today, its administration is integrated in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
