Governing Bodies

Ad Futurum relies on several Governing Bodies. All the members of the university community as well as the grouping partners are represented in these bodies. Its duties and regulations are governed by the Regulations controlling the Organic Structure of the Campus of International Excellence (CIE) of the University of Oviedo.

Board of Directors
  • It consists of representatives of the university community.
  • It is the main decision-making authority. The university community is fully represented in this body.
  • Its main functions are deciding (and overseeing) on the intended use of funds according to the funding plan, recruiting staff, following-up the project, approving annual reports and deciding on requests to future subprograms.
Executive Board
  • Its function is preparing the full and ensure compliance, assist in the representation of the CEI, dispatch matters delegated by the Board of Directors.
International Advisory Board
  • Consisting of Uniovi Honorary Doctors and Prince of Asturias Awards, prestigious scientists and representatives of civil society internationally.
  • Its role is to support the International Campus of Excellence in the execution of their activities and collaborate in international promotion and advising the Council and the Executive Commission.
Follow-up Commission
  • Formed by representatives of the Government of the Principality of Asturias and Civil Society.
  • Its function is to enhance the relationship with the territory and with the Civil Society.
CIE Office
  • Coordinates the actions promoted by the initiative of the CEI.
  • It is responsible for funds management and communication policy.
