Master's degrees

The University of Oviedo offers a wide range of Master's degrees for the Academic year 2015-2016, completing thus the programmes adapted to the European Higher Education Area committing itself to the internazionalization, the interuniversity cooperation and the transfer of Knowledge contributing to the qualification for the professional practice chosen.

Period of pre-registration opened for students from outside the EHEA until 8th June 2015, academic course 2015/2016

The Programmes include:

  • International Master’s Degrees. The University of Oviedo has Agreements with 23 Universities from more than 11 countries and  third country members. Among the International degrees we offer five Erasmus Mundus Master Courses and eight other double degree agreements with Pau, Clermont-Ferrand, Hochschule Karlsruhe, Silesia, Bologna, Western New México (EEUU) and Monterrey (México) Universities
  • Interuniversity Master’s Degrees. The University of Oviedo offers eight programmes in cooperation with 21 Spanish Universities and other 14 taking part in the Master’s course in Theoretical Chemistry & Computational Modelling.
  • Professionally-oriented Master’s Degrees. They are intended to offer a training methodology addressed to the professional practice. For this reason, more than 250 institutions are involved in the development of the courses, offering lessons, internship periods and the supervision of the Master´s Thesis.  
  • Eight double degrees: Analytic & Bioanalytic Sciences, Socio-cultural History and Analisis, Biotechnology Applied to the Conservation & Sustainable Management of Plant Resources and Business Administration.
  • Bilingual Master courses: Level B1 of English is required to enrol in 19 Master courses. And six of them are completely taught in English.
