NAMOBICA

The second edition of NAMOBICA will take place on November, 9, 2012, at the  Severo Ochoa Buiding in the Campus of  El Cristo, in Oviedo.


In this science meeting, outstanding researchers devoted to the study of cancer biology and to the molecular changes underlying this disease, will give a series of conferences, followed by science discussion forums. NAMOBICA 2012 will deal with new trends in the scope of cancer research, beyond genomics, including implications in clinical translation and in the development of personalized medical treatment strategies.


NAMOBICA is an initiative of the Cluster of Biomedicine and Health of the CIE of the University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the IUOPA (University Institute of Oncology of Asturias) and EntreChem. The main objective is to strengthen the specialization in Genomics and Proteomics of Cancer and Aging, one of the strategic lines of the Cluster, as well as to show the latest scientific advances in this field, and to promote collaborative work among researchers.
